RESISTANCE TESTS FOR WEAR AND TEAR ON A BAMBOO PARQUET

In addition to the certifications already in our possession (CE and FS), our bamboo can also boast objective results when it comes to wear and tear and resistance Testing carried out by a specialised laboratory has allowed to test each individual type of resistance feature including those most requested by customers.

In particular we subjected our bamboo flooring to a series of stress and laboratory tests to examine its strength and resistance levels when in contact with specific substances. In depth tests were carried out in the following areas:

• Resistance to temperature fluctuation (required for vessels), according to UNI 9429:1989 standards

• Scratch resistance, according to UNI EN 15186: 2012, met standards. B

• Identifying friction coefficient, B.C.R.A. method

• Resistance to light, according to UNI EN 15187:2007 standards

• Resistance to chemical agents (acetone, wine, vinegar, oil, milk, coffee, tea, etc.) according to EN 13442:2013 standards

• Hardness of classic bamboo according to EN 1534:2010 standards

• Hardness of tempered bamboo according to EN 1534:2010 standards

• Hardness of nature bamboo according to EN 1534:2010 standards

• Resistance to cleaning products (Cif, Vetril, Viakal, Lysoform, Mastrolindo, etc.) according to PTP 53:1995 standards

Pavibamboo bamboo flooring has proven to be highly tenacious and resistant; you will only notice some solid residual mould when in consistent contact with some particularly aggressive substances (after 16 hours).
