In this section of the website, we will deal with all of the “environmentally friendly” talk in more detail.
All Pavibamboo parquet (except decking for outdoors and accessories) is produced from FSC® certified material; FSC stands for the “Forest Stewardship Council” and, thanks to the meticulous management of a number of forest resources throughout the world, the committee is working on devising a forest control chain from the end vendor of all wood-related products around the world, whether this be paper, parquet or something else; this is to ensure that the finished product which is sold to the end consumer was originally derived from a carefully-managed resource.
Another interesting aspect in relation to bamboo as a parquet is the fact that its use within any romm can earn the room itself LEED points, if this has been designed and manufactured in accordance with LEED criteria; these are world-class standards for sound construction and management of a property, which was conceived in the 1990s according to eco-friendly principles.

The essential element of Pavibamboo’s production is to make a parquet with adhesives and finishes of European origin; in truth, it is important to admit that several adhesives of Chinese origin are perfectly fine, and are now technologically advanced, however for the time being at least, we prefer to uses adhesives and finishes from European companies (in particular Akzo Nobel, Dynea and PPG).
