LEED CREDITS
Bamboo flooring can contribute towards the allocation of LEED points in relation to the construction of a building under the category “Materials and Resources”, as a result of its “Rapidly Renewable Materials” (the bamboo reaches a level of maturity in five years) and “Certified Wood” (Pavibamboo handles materials which have been 100% FSC certified).
According to LEED v2009 (valid until June 2015)
MR credit 6: 1 point (rapidly renewable material)
MR credit 7: 1 point (FSC certified wood)
