The bamboo parquet comes prefinished using products from the Swedish Bona range, a leading company in the field of treating wood. Specifically speaking, our finish is called Bona Naturale UV Commercial and it consists of six lower layers + 2 upper layers of 100% UV, non-toxic acrylic urethane. This type of finish is completely free from VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds); in addition, this type of finish does not consist of any heavy metals, formaldehyde, lead, pentachlorophenol, MDIs or TDIs.
It is a coating which is already suited to the strain typical of any business, such as a shop, a restaurant, an office, or a showroom. This means that our flooring offers particular resistance to scratches and to wear and tear in general if it is being used in residential surroundings
GLEANING GUARANTEE FOR THE ENTIRE FLOORING SERVICE LIFE: Bona offers lifetime support to anyone who has purchased a Bona finishing product, as is also the case with Pavibamboo flooring; this service is known as the Bona Lifetime Support and offers a gleaning guarantee for the flooring if it is always treated with BONA products. The service is made possible by the BONA products sales network which is present throughout Italy. Among other things for instance, it is possible to restore a worn surface without using any abrasive machinery, or applying additional protective film. In order to benefit from this, you are welcome to use the BONA product range for treating your flooring; by doing so, your bamboo will last for several decades. Please visit www.bona.com for further details.
Nature bamboo does not have a varnished finish like the other two types of flooring does; in fact, the surface of this very specific flooring (and its limited process) consists exclusively of bamboo skin which is hardened and secured using heat treatment. The peel is then treated with a layer of wax from the Swedish company Sherwin-Williams, which gives it light and provides protection over time.
Our outdoor decking is already pre-oiled inside the factory using oil from the Dutch company Sikkens; the impregnating oil for bamboo solutions for outdoor use serves to nourish the dashboard and to keep it both solid and vibrant over a period of time.
