A BRIEF HISTORY AND TRADE ASSOCIATIONS
In this section of the site, we will give a brief description of our history, how we work for our customers, which associations we belong to, and why.
COMPANY HISTORY:
Since 2008, Pavibamboo has been an entrepreneurial activity specialising in the direct import of parquets into Italy which are made exclusively from bamboo.
Bamboo is an extremely versatile and durable plant, and over twenty million square feet of floor space has been laid out in homes all over the world, particularly in the United States, Japan, South Africa, Korea, Germany, France, Australia, and New Zealand.
Pavibamboo is therefore involved in the production of parquet from two of the finest Chinese factories, and has a large number of goods available in its warehouse in Torino, from which they are then shipped throughout Italy.
We are specially prepared to monitor on-site production and we find the finest raw materials, all of which come from FSC certified forests. We do not treat any other wood because it is difficult to acquire an in-depth knowledge of a hundred different materials, plus we prefer to take care of this robust, elegant plant in the best way possible even at affordable prices, considering the quality.

NWFA:
Since 2010, Pavibamboo has been affiliated to an American association (National Wood Flooring Association), which brings thousands of wood companies from all over the world under one umbrella; this gives people the opportunity to gain experience and world-wide knowledge about wood culture, laying methods, how materials behave and so on. The affiliation does help us, when needed, to draw on this wealth of knowledge and then offer it to our customers in the form of technical support when choosing the parquet and to provide legitimate information which is of interest to the customer.
GBC:
We have also been members of GBC Italia since 2012, which is the Italian branch of GBC United States, or the committee which passed LEED standards, the most important in the world when it comes to sustainable construction. In a home, bamboo flooring is an important component of a good life which is in contact with natural materials, and which is not a result of exploitation; it is for this reason that Pavibamboo wants to help promote the idea of more eco-sustainable and less harmful way of living by merely selling a material which grows spontaneously in Italy, and whose enormous presence in Asia is of benefit to the environment (it does not erode soil, CO2 is absorbed in large quantities, etc.), whilst it also wishes to deploy an entire production chain.
