TEMPERED BAMBOO (or strand woven): highly resistant flooring , which is capable of withstanding shocks and bumps of all types, almost as if it were not wooden but stone flooring instead. The fundamental value of this flooring, which is made from broken bamboo strips and then put together, is an exceptional hardness, which may be required in areas placed under extreme levels of stress; the surface appears more like a wooden floor than one made from bamboo, although the material used is 100% bamboo.

  • Strand woven bamboo for a floor heating system is constructed in two layers: the lower layer is in classic bamboo and the upper layer in strand woven bamboo; the total thickness is 10 mm;
  • laying on radiant screed requires a two-tiered cross section so that maximum stability can be assured; hardwood floor boards measure 92 cm in length, are 9.2 cm wide, and have a thickness of 1cm with slightly bevelled edges;
  • bamboo parquet for radiant flooring already comes pre-finished with a Swedish ecological finish from Bona, which is resistant to intense wear and tear, and which is tapped on four sides so it can be positioned using either dual-component or silane adhesive on both standard substrates and on heated flooring.
